Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

  • Wallet addresses: Collected when you connect your wallet. These are public on the Apollo blockchain.
  • Email address: Optional. Used only for service notifications (subscription expiry, batch status).
  • Product images: Uploaded by merchants for batch creation. Watermarked versions are stored on IPFS.
  • Verification logs: When a consumer verifies an item, we log the item hash, IP address, and user agent for fraud detection.

2. How We Use Information

  • To authenticate users via wallet signatures (SIWE).
  • To link merchants to their deployed smart contracts.
  • To track verification events and detect fraudulent activity.
  • To send service notifications (opt-in via email).

3. Data Storage

Merchant and batch data is stored in a PostgreSQL database. Watermarked tag images are stored on IPFS (decentralized, content-addressed). On-chain data (NFTs, item hashes) is stored on the Apollo blockchain and cannot be deleted.

4. Third-Party Sharing

We do not share your data with third parties. Wallet addresses and on-chain data are inherently public on the blockchain. IPFS-stored images are publicly accessible via their CID (content identifier).

5. Data Retention

On-chain data (NFTs, hashes) is permanent and cannot be deleted. Database records are retained for the life of the merchant account. Verification logs are retained for fraud detection purposes.

6. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your merchant account and associated database records. On-chain data cannot be deleted. Contact us at tickets@blaqcloudsmediagroup.io for data requests.

7. Security

Authentication uses wallet signatures (SIWE) — we never store passwords. JWT tokens are used for session management with expiration. Database access is restricted to the application server.
